QR Labels

QR labels make it easy to scan assets during audits and day-to-day operations.

Where it lives

Open Configuration → QR Labels.

Templates (current UI)

You can create multiple label templates and mark one as the default.

A template contains:

• Name
• Name is limited to 40 characters so template cards and selection flows remain readable
• Orientation: horizontal or vertical
• Size: width/height in millimeters
• QR code size
• Padding
• Field list (what text appears on the label)
• (Optional) branding toggle

Fields can include:

• built-in asset fields (e.g., tag, name)
• custom asset fields

Printing

From an asset, open the QR/label action and download/print.

The printed QR code points to a short /t/:uniqueTag route. After login, InvyMate resolves that tag to the canonical asset detail page, so the same label works for authenticated scans and direct asset links.

External QR readers should open the same browser URL, and the app's header scan icon next to global search opens the built-in modal scanner for assets.
